On Monday, May 6, 2019, the Octorara Soccer Club (OSC) and the Philadelphia Union Youth Development Program are excited to announce the OSC and Philadelphia Union Training and Development Partnership. OSC is the first Youth Soccer Club in the Chester/Lancaster area & second overall enter into the new Philadelphia Youth Partner Program. Read more about it here.
OSC and the Philadelphia Union are dedicated to bringing high quality training, development and opportunities to the youth in our community at an affordable cost beginning this Fall 2019.
What does this partnership mean to you?
This partnership will bring the following benefits directly from the Philadelphia Union to OSC for all age groups from for both our Intramural & Travel Teams. This
- Training partner - In season training for travel players and travel teams with Union Trainers
- Coaching partner - Union Coaches Training/Clinics
- Development partner - Union Training Curriculum Design
- The Union Summer Camp – 1 Week Player Development led by Union Trainers. (Aug 5-9, 5:30 - 8pm) More details to follow very shortly.
Additional player opportunities include:
- End of season Intramural Tournament activities sponsored by the Union Mobile Tour group. Fun for everyone
- Pathway to the Union Academy. Any players identified as Union Academy standard during training will be recommended for the Union Pre-Academy/Academy Programs.
